Frequently Asked Questions
I have put AdBlue in my tank! What happens now?

Don’t turn on the ignition or start the engine and call us for help.

If you do start your engine, then the damage could mean that you have to get the entire Selective Catalytic Reduction and AdBlue injection system replaced.  However If you do find yourself in the unfortunate position of having put AdBlue in your fuel tank and have started the engine, all is not lost provided you take swift action by calling us to deal with the contamination within a 24 hour period.

Is it more common to put petrol in a diesel vehicle or vice versa?

Most people who misfuel put petrol into diesel vehicles due to the wider diesel filler neck and narrower unleaded nozzle.

I've just realised I've misfuelled, what should I do?

You should ideally NOT start the engine. Call us on 07831283366 or 08009247866 for advice.
